Birth in Balance is a coastal Maine homebirth, midwifery and doula service headed up by Certified Professional Midwife, Jasmine Bay. BIB offers alternatives in care for pregnancy, birthing, postpartum and breastfeeding to women and their families. Whether you are having your baby at home or in the hospital— be it your first baby or third— you can benefit from the presence of a midwife! As a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Jasmine Bay is an independent practitioner who has met the standards for certification set by the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) and is qualified to provide the Midwives Model of Care to all Birth In Balance mothers and their families.

Rates and Fees at BIB

Birth In Balance is proud to offer a sliding fee scale to our clients. We're also eligible for reimbursement under certain insurance policies.
